Both #613 and #701 have been sired by GDAR Rainmaker 340, well known for calving ease. #613 is listed with the American Angus Association Bull listing Service. #107 and #613 were purchased as a cow/calf pair from Longacres Farm with all the desired traits (calmness and gentleness) bred into his herd.
Our current registered calf crop has been sired by QAS Traveler 23-4, Bingo 1492, and Saugahatchie 3000c - sold. Next year's crop will include SAF Fame, Krugerrand of Donamere 490 amd GDAR Traveler 7111.
All of our cattle's veterinary needs are met by Eavey Veterinary Service, 307 South Michigan, Hastings, Michigan. Our herds tested T.B. negative and we are working with State Agricultural Officials for so they can be accredited as T.B. free herds. Thereafter, the herds will have yearly testing to maintain the accreditation.
